Antiblockier System
ABS is a device which can be added to almost any e-Bikes. The Raicam ABS system for e-Bikes allows you to brake safely on all surfaces, while maintaining control even in difficult conditions.
The Raicam ABS acts on the front wheel by delivering controlled braking, in the most critical cases, for example panic-braking, it acts by limiting the lifting of the rear wheel and preventing front wheel lock up.
All this translates into safer e-bikes thus maintaining a stable driving condition and increased safety.
How it works
In the event of too sharp front wheel braking in which the front wheel risks locking up, the Raicam ABS through the pressure control of the front caliper improves driving stability and manoeuvrability by rapidly applying the front brakes on & off thus reducing the possibility of being thrown over the handlebar.
On slippery road surfaces, progressive braking adds further control and stability.

The speed of both wheels is monitored in real time by the sensors on the wheels themselves.
The pressure of the braking system is also monitored in real time via a pressure sensor.
An inertial platform (IMU) provides constant and reliable monitoring of all critical situations.
The system is equipped with the latest generation connectivity to PCs, smart phones, fitness watches.
